Warranty

A&H offers a 1 year warranty. AM&S offered 2 years on the Avantis console from it's commissioned date.

Maintenance

Use compressed air periodically to ensure no debris is affecting the fader motors.

Troubleshooting

There's a new firmware version, 1.23. I'd advise updating to that to test out the calibration again.

I'd also suggest spraying some compressed air into the faders to see if it removes any debris.

You can also try resetting the console, but you'd want to save you SHOW files on a backup USB before doing this.

***if you need to save your settings, make sure to create a backup of your show file(s) to USB before performing this procedure*** (Utility>Memory>Show Manager> Select Show(s)> Copy to USB)

1) Power off the console WITHOUT using the on-screen shutdown button

2) When you power back on, you will see a message that reads "Console not shut down properly" .... select the ADVANCED menu

3) Select RESET CONSOLE > OK

Replacement

Updated fader design as of April 2023

"Both banks will need to be replaced as there was a recent production change to the fader banks and as a result, both banks will need to be updated to make sure they match and function properly”

Part number for Avantis 12-fader bank is 004-1664-1X.

Individual fader for new fader banks is AH-AI9838-1X.

Avantis can be shipped to AM&S's facility in Southhaven, MS or taken to an authorized Allen & Heath Service Center.
